On Nov. 8 George Doiron, Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 320 of Jay, presented an award for the Family of the Year to Michael and Helen Hobbs for their dedication not only to the Knights and Daughters of Isabella Circle 677, but also to the community. The award was received by Helen, top photo. Neil Bourgoin, bottom photo, was present to receive the Knight of the Year award for his dedication to the organization, to his church and the community. Doiron also announced that the mortgage for the elevator at the hall was paid in full. Everyone present at the turkey dinner gave a rousing cheer for a job well done.
