RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Gerard Vallee was celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 7, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” “Wind Beneath My Wings,” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” The Old and New Testaments were proclaimed by Barbara Doherty. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
