RUMFORD — A spaghetti supper, auction and dance to benefit Cheryl Wade will take place from 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday, May 17, at the Rumford Eagles Hall, 13 Oxford Ave.

The meal will be served from 5 p.m. until sold out. It includes meatballs, fresh baked garlic bread, cole slaw, beverage and desserts. Cost for the meal is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.

Take-out will be available. If possible, call Kim at 364-6102 or Cathy at 357-9574 the day before.

A live auction will take place at 7 p.m., and a Chinese auction and 50/50 will be held throughout the night.

The Roadhouse Band will play classic rock music from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cost for the dance only is $10. Cost for supper and dance is $15.

Wade is fighting Stiff Person’s Syndrome (SPS), where the body goes into spasms, enough to break bones. It is a rare, painful and debilitating disease, for which she will need treatments the rest of her life.
