1960 – 2014

SANFORD — David A. Blanchard, 53, of Sanford, died on Tuesday, April 1, at home.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 23, 1960, to James and Constance (Coolidge) Blanchard. He attended Bethel schools, graduating from Telstar High School in 1978. David worked at Maine Energy Recovery Co. in Biddeford for several years, until he was unable due to health. He also helped at the Salvation Army in Sanford.

David enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and spending time at the family camp in Greenwood.

David is survived by his daughter, Regan Blanchard, of Kennebunk; his mother, Connie Blanchard, of Biddeford; his brother, Steven Blanchard and wife, Kathi, of Limerick; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, James; brothers, Scott and Wayne; and sister Betsy.
