Brown building on the Wilton Road in Farmington was demolished Thursday by a Mar Win Contractor crew, because it did not have a foundation and the land behind it was eroding, site supervisor Mark Winston said. It’s been an issue for the past 10 years, he said. The building is the former site of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and Meadows, and is the future home of Basil’s Pizza & Subs.
