LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Melanie LaRoche and Christopher Remeika, both of Lewiston.

The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Roderick of Farmington. She is a 1992 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and is currently pursuing her associate degree for medical assistant at Andover College. She is also employed full-time as a nursing assistant specializing in the care of Alzheimer’s residents at Maine General Medical Center.

The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oliveto of St. Petersburg, Fla., and the late Robert Remeika. He is a 1989 graduate of Rumford High School and is employed full-time as a systems operator for the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Lewiston.

The couple resides in Lewiston with their children, Nathan and Tianna LaRoche, Nathaniel Blodgett and Carter and Brianna Remeika.

A June ocean-side wedding is planned at Cape Elizabeth.
