WILTON — Funeral services for Charles M. Morgan, formerly of Wilton, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wilton First Congregational Church, UCC, Main St., Wilton, with the Rev. David W. Smith officiating. Mary Ryan was the organist and accompanied the congregational hymns, “On Eagle’s Wings” and “God Be With You ‘Til We Meet Again.” Scripture readings included Psalm 15 and 46, Matthew 5:3-11 and Matthew 25:34-40. Personal eulegies were shared by his children, Cherie Grimm and Rick Morgan, as well as by longtime friend, Hunt Blatchford. Wilton Masonic Lodge No. 156 offered a Masonic Service at the close of the church service. Committal services were held at the Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, with military honors provided by Camp Keyes, Augusta. Following services, all were invited to Calzolaio Restaurant for a comfort reception. Arrangements and services were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
