AUBURN – Eugene and Kathleen Keene of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Elaine Richelle Keene, to Keith Roland Derosby, son of Robert and Selwa Derosby of Waterville.

Miss Keene is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the University of New England. She is a certified special education teacher at Edward Little High School. She also coaches field hockey, basketball and is the varsity softball coach.

Mr. Derosby is a graduate of Waterville Senior High School and the University of Maine at Farmington. He holds a master’s degree in technology in the classroom from Thomas College and is currently studying for his master’s degree in school counseling at Husson University. He teaches mathematics and coaches basketball at Messalonskee High School in Oakland.

The wedding will be held in August at St. Francis Xavier Church in Winthrop, with the reception to be held at the Senator Inn in Augusta.
