DURHAM, N.H. – Katherine Jane Daly and Matthew Thomas Miles of Cambridge, Mass., were married Sept. 20 at Three Chimneys Inn in Durham, N.H. Cindy Lovett, notary public, officiated at the 4 p.m. garden ceremony.
Mrs. Miles is the daughter of Jane and John Daly and the granddaughter of Phyllis Leavitt, all of Auburn. Mr. Miles is the son of Kathleen and James Miles of Nashua, N.H., and the grandson of Audrey Miles of Exeter, N.H.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a full length sheath gown with beaded straps, beaded embroidered illusion back and ruffled sweep train. She carried a bouquet of roses, calla lilies and red berries.
Michelle Dubois of Portland attended as maid of honor. Zoe Hollister of Washington, D.C., attended as bridesmaid. Timothy Miles of Exeter, N.H., brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Sean Rickrode of Nashua, N.H., was groomsman. A reading was shared by Patricia O’Keefe of Hampton, N.H., aunt of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Inn after which the couple traveled to Kennebunkport. A honeymoon trip to Europe is planned for spring 2009.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in finance. She is employed as a compensation analyst at Tufts Health Plan in Watertown.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Nashua High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in accounting. He is employed as a fund manager at State Street Bank in Boston.
Both are graduate students at Suffolk University in Boston.
