GREENE – Announcement is made of the engagement of Stacy Marriner, daughter of Sheila and Michael Marriner of Rockport, to Jason McCarthy, son of Christine and Lewis McCarthy of Greene.

Miss Marriner is a 2003 graduate of Camden Hills High School and a 2004 graduate of Headhunter Spa Technical School of Cosmetology in Portland. She is a cosmetologist employed at Cutting Edge Hair Salon in Camden.

Mr. McCarthy is a 2002 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2007 graduate of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in psychology. He is a patrol officer with the Rockport Police Department.
