AUBURN – The wedding of Renee Jacqueline Giguere and Gary Hubert Castonguay was held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Auburn United Methodist Church. Pastor Richard Cullen officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Castonguay is the daughter of Guy and Jacqueline Giguere of Sabattus. Mr. Castonguay is the son of Alcide Castonguay of Bowdoinham and Connie Castonguay of Sabattus.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white satin ball gown with beaded lace and Cathedral train. She carried a dozen white Calla lilies.

Lisa Burgess, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Angie Castonguay and Sarah Ensor, sisters of the bridegroom. Mariah Burgess, goddaughter of the couple, was flower girl.

Serving as best man was Michael Hebert, best friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Eric Beaulieu, friend of the bridegroom, David Ensor, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Kristin Burgess, friend of the couple. Brandon Tullo, godson of the couple, and Aiden Ensor, nephew of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Orlando, Fla. They are residing in Sabattus.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Lewiston High School and is currently a student at Andover College, studying for a paralegal degree.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Sabattus and received a degree in culinary arts. He is employed at VIP Warehouse in Lewiston.
