CANTON – The wedding of Ashley Nicole Twitchell and Ryan Kenneth Robbins was held at 4 p.m., Aug. 16, at Bradbury Memorial Chapel in Canton. Shannon Welch, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Robbins is the daughter of Kevin and Nancy Twitchell of Turner. Mr. Robbins is the son of Kenny and Carole Robbins of Canton and Tracy and Scott Blaisdell of Dixfield.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Serving as maid of honor was her friend, Mandi Jack. Bridesmaids were Brooke Simpson, cousin of the bride, and Tia Dakin, friend of the couple. Emily Twitchell, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

D.J. Robbins performed the duties of best man for his brother. Ushers were Joey and Eric Sayer, friends of the couple. Dylan Harvey, son of the maid of honor, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the American Legion Hall in Rumford.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner and is employed at Western Maine Insurance in Rumford.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield and is employed at Murray Oil Company in Turner.
