LISBON – Hubert E. and Annette (Latouche) Cote celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary May 26 at their home on Fortin Avenue in Lisbon. The four children of the couple and their families were in attendance for the party. The party was filled with grateful family members and friends, pleased to be together after a long and difficult winter. Annette overcame some serious health issues and continues to improve beyond all odds. This anniversary marked an important and happy milestone for the entire family.

The couple was married June 6, 1953, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lisbon. After a small reception with family and friends at the Grange Hall in Lisbon, the happily married couple headed off to their honeymoon, which included a memorable stay in Bar Harbor. They have resided in Lisbon all of their lives.
