BELFAST – The wedding of Katie Miles and Justin Merrill was held at 3 p.m. May 31 at the First Church in Belfast. Pastor Joel Krueger officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Merrill is the daughter of Donald and Diane Miles of Waldo. Mr. Merrill is the son of George and Marjorie Merrill of Jay.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Amy Miles was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Miles, Kami Harford and Ashley Hanson, cousins, and Rachel Gagnon, friend.

Mark Castonguay performed the duties of best man for his cousin. Ushers were A.J. Nelson, Darren Roundy and Kyle Wells, friends, and Tyler Miles, brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the Blue Goose Center in Northport.

The bride received a degree in early childhood education and is employed at OT to Play/Learn/Grow in Norway.

The bridegroom received a degree in diesel truck and heavy equipment, and is employed at the family business, George Merrill and Son Logging LLC in Jay.
