POLAND – A surprise 25th wedding anniversary party was given May 19 in honor of Donald and Brenda Fortin of Poland. The party was held at Governor’s Restaurant in Lewiston and was given by their three sons.

Mr. Fortin and the former Brenda Paine were married May 27, 1983, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus.

The couple has three sons, Donald Fortin Jr. of Poland, Jonathan and his wife, Jenn, and their two children, Matthew and Brianna Katelynn, and their youngest son, Justin and his fiancee, Emily Albert, and their daughter, Aleisha Rose.

Mrs. Fortin is employed at Elm Street School as a special education technician in Mechanic Falls.

Mr. Fortin is employed at Hannaford Trucking in Scarborough.

The couple enjoyed having all their family members attend. They took a mini vacation to Hampton Beach by the ocean, where they enjoyed listening to music and walking along the beach together.
