RUMFORD – Michael Palmer of Longs, S.C., and Michael Singer and Catherine Pache of Rumford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tyffani Irene Palmer, to Matthew Charles Hoff, son of Charles and Teri Hoff of Rumford.

Miss Palmer is a 2003 graduate of Amesbury High School and is a cashier at Wal-Mart.

Mr. Hoff is a 2004 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and works as a cart pusher at Wal-Mart.

The wedding is set for Sept. 13.
