NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Melissa Dulac and Isaiah Cooper was held at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. Tina Virgin officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Cooper is the daughter of Richard and Claire Dulac of Lewiston. Mr. Cooper is the son of John and Becky Parsons of Durham.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Maranda Pennini, friend of the bride for 23 years, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Dulac, sister of the bride, Holly Bennett, sister of the bridegroom, and Nicole Leblanc and Chantel Huddleston, friends of the bride. Allyson Bennett, a niece, was flower girl.
Chris West, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Chris Bennett, brother-in-law, Malachi Parsons, brother of the bridegroom, Aaron Cabot, friend of the bridegroom, and Bert Gosselin, uncle of the bride. Zachary Stevens, nephew, was junior usher, and Brandon Hammond, nephew, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2002 graduate of Hartwick College with a bachelor’s degree. In 2004 she received a master’s degree from Boston College. She is a family therapist at Catholic Charities Maine.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of North Haven Community School and is employed in residential construction in the Midcoast area.
