JAY – Announcement is made of the engagement of Julie A. Richards and Nathan Purrington, both of Jay.

The future bride is the daughter of Alfred Richards and Dianna Poulin, both of Jay. She plans to graduate in May from the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in art. She is employed at Hannaford in Jay.

The future bridegroom is the son of Mike and Rhonda Purrington of Fayette. He received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from the University of Maine at Farmington. He teaches history at Livermore Falls High School.

They are the proud parents of a baby girl, Rylee Michele.

The ceremony is planned for June 21 in Livermore, with a reception to follow at Murray Hall in Livermore Falls.
