EAST WILTON – Anthony and Roberta Bryson of East Wilton are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Jo Bryson, to John Paul Sammel, son of John and Marie Sammel of New Port Richey, Fla.

Miss Bryson is a 2000 graduate of Mount Blue High School and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in fashion merchandising. She is employed as a retail manager for Wet Seal in Tampa, Fla.

Mr. Sammel is a 1995 graduate of River Ridge High School and is currently studying for his degree in forestry and agriculture. He is employed as bar manager/bartender at the Green Iguana in Tampa, Fla.

A July 19 wedding is planned at Lake Sebasticook in Newport.
