LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. – The wedding of DeAnne Tardiff of Lewiston and Scott Chin of Brooklyn, N.Y. was held at 5:30 p.m. June 23 at the Fort William Henry Resort in Lake George, N.Y.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Patricia Thibodeau of Lewiston and Patrick and Jacqueline Tardiff of New Tazewell, Tenn. The bridegroom is the son of John and Mary Chin of Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Rev. Kenneth Quick officiated at the ceremony.
The bride wore a strapless, ivory organza gown with champagne trim and beading at the bodice. In the Chinese tradition, the bride changed into a red strapless dress for the reception. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Patrick and given away by her stepfather, Raymond.
The maid of honor was Theodora Medouris, childhood friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tracie and Lisa Chin, sisters of the bridegroom, and Shannon Smith and Deborah Mucciolo, friends of the bride.
The best man was Scott Stone, college friend of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Mark Tardiff, brother of the bride, Chris and Ryan Moy, cousins of the groom, and Adrian DeVisser, friend of the bridegroom.
A reception followed the outdoor lakeside ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Bermuda. They own a home in Carmel, N.Y., and are now expecting their first child.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and received a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2000. She is currently employed as a senior occupational therapist in Carmel, N.Y.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, and is employed as a sergeant in the NYPD.
