LEWISTON – Larry and Debra Michaud of Jay are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amber Michaud of Lewiston, to Mark Melanson of Lewiston, son of Mark Melanson of Jay and Jackie Beekmen of Lewiston.

Miss Michaud is a 2003 graduate of Oak Hill High School and is employed as indirect lending manager at Maine Family Federal Credit Union.

Mr. Melanson is a 2003 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and is employed in production at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

The wedding will be held on May 9 at the Bates College Chapel in Lewiston.
