1958 – 2014

AUBURN — Carl A. Frost Sr., 56, of Mechanic Falls, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 12, after a long bout with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.

Carl was born in Lewiston on July 15, 1958, a son of the late Raymond A. Frost and Dorothy E. (Hall) Frost of Mechanic Falls.

Carl was a lover of music, whether it was The Beatles or the Eagles, or his recent discovery of Christian music as an affirmation of his faith in Christ. He was also a passionate genealogist, at least when it came to his own family tree, compiling and cataloging many of his family and ancestors’ history throughout the years. He had a special love for Brittany Spaniels, and enjoyed watching and identifying the birds that landed on his many bird feeders.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his four children, Andrew Frost, his daughter, Stacy, Carl Jr. and Timothy Frost; and his nine grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers, Christopher Frost and wife, Jackie, of South Paris, Greg Frost and wife, Karen, of Melbourne, Fla., Michael Frost and partner, Anita Chabot, of Lewiston, Dana Frost and wife, Julie, of South Paris and Donald Frost and wife, Linda, of Mechanic Falls; his sister, Theresa Toothaker and husband, David, of South Paris; as well as his aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
