LIVERMORE – Shanel and Lucille Lavoie of Livermore celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently at Norlands Living History Center.

Mr. Lavoie and the former Lucille LaForge were married on Nov. 24, 1956, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hamlin.

They have two children, Thomas and Scott, and four grandchildren, Phillip, Scot, Darian and Cassandra.

Mrs. Lavoie is retired and is a volunteer at Norlands Living History Center and the Livermore Public Library. She is president of the Livermore Falls Women’s Club.

Mr. Lavoie is retired and volunteers many hours at Norlands Living History Center.
