LEWISTON – The wedding of Brandy Penna and Corey McFadden was held at 5 p.m. on Sept. 23 at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. Paul Bernard officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. McFadden is the daughter of Richard and Michele Penna of Marlborough, N.H. Mr. McFadden is the son of Blaine and Betsy McFadden of Greene.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Katie Wibben was maid of honor for her friend, and bridesmaids were Shelby Byrnes, Katelyn Himmelstoss, Karri White and Leslie Bates, all friends. Brooklyn Spring, cousin, was flower girl.

Dave Belisle served as best man for his friend, and ushers were Luke Orsini, Luigi Solines, Dave Tremberth and Shawn White, all friends, Derek McFadden, brother of the bridegroom, and Brandon Penna, brother of the bride. Aiden McFadden, nephew, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. The couple is planning a honeymoon in April.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from the University of Maine at Machias and a master’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University. She is a biology teacher at Edward Little High School.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Maine at Machias and is employed as assistant director of admissions at the University of Maine at Farmington.
