POLAND – Marc and Diane Turcotte of Poland are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Turcotte, to Kai Becksvoort, son of Chris and Peggy Becksvoort of New Gloucester.
Miss Turcotte is a graduate of Poland Regional High School and is currently attending Merrimack College, where she plans to graduate in May with a major in psychology and minors in philosophy and digital media.
Mr. Becksvoort is a graduate of Hebron Academy and also attended Maine Maritime Academy, studying marine transportation operations. He is currently employed at McAllister Towing of New York and is also a volunteer fireman for the New Gloucester Fire Department.
A June 30 wedding will be held at the First Congregational Church in New Gloucester, followed by a reception at the Fireside Inn in Auburn.
