LITCHFIELD – A surprise 25th wedding anniversary party was given recently in honor of Lawrence and Florence Poulin at their home in Litchfield. The event was planned by their sons, Nicholas and Anthony Poulin.

Many family members and friends were in attendance. A original wedding theme was used for decorations and a light buffet was served. Pink roses and white carnations, which were the flowers for Mrs. Poulin’s original bouquet, provided the centerpiece.

The couple continued to celebrate during a Florida vacation with their immediate family in June.

Mr. Poulin and the former Florence Fortin were married on May 16, 1981, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus. In addition to their two sons, they have two grandchildren, Alexa and Ashlyn Poulin.

Mrs. Poulin is a 1981 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at Union 44 School Department.
