OTISFIELD – Lawrence and Andrea Powers of Hebron are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Arica Powers, to John Monahan, son of Roland and Donna Thomas of Otisfield.

Miss Powers is a graduate of Hebron Academy and the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as an emergency room nurse at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Monahan is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School and is a paramedic at Stephens Memorial Hospital. He is also a firefighter and paramedic at Oxford Fire and Rescue.

The wedding will be held on Jan. 20 at the Hebron Community Baptist Church, with a reception to follow at the Silver Spur.
