RUMFORD — Dr. Sarah Ellis has recently joined the staff at Mountain View Eyecare. The practice has offices at 56 Franklin St. in Rumford and 140 Main St. in Bethel.

Originally from Mars Hill, Ellis is excited to be back in her home state. After graduating from Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, she attended The New England College of Optometry in Boston. Upon graduation, Dr. Ellis moved to Denver, where she opened a practice providing comprehensive family eye care.

Dr. Ellis fell in love with Bethel when her family began farming potatoes there 10 years ago and moved back to the area with her husband and daughter. She enjoys hiking, gardening and skiing with her family.
