MECHANIC FALLS – A surprise party was held on Aug. 6 for Craig and Cindy Dustin of Mechanic Falls, on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. Also celebrating at the same time were their friends, Stan and Sherry Camic of Greene.
The event was held at the Camic residence in Greene and was arranged by family members and friends. The two wives have been friends since childhood and have kept in close contact throughout the years. Both were maids of honor at each other’s wedding. Anniversary cakes were made for the couples.
Mr. Dustin is the son of stepson of Sally and Paul Fournier of Mechanic Falls. Mrs. Dustin is the daughter of Arlo and Anna Wadsworth of Mechanic Falls.
They were married on Aug. 16, 1980, at the Municipal Building in Mechanic Falls by the late Edward Heath. They have a daughter, Rachel Dustin of Mechanic Falls.
Mr. Dustin has been employed by the Auburn Highway Department for the past 24 years. Mrs. Dustin is employed at Great Falls Dental in Auburn. They enjoy life through camping, fishing and vacationing on the coast.
They spent their anniversary in Bar Harbor.
