DOBSON, N.C. – The wedding of Kandice Marie Archibald and Chris Keith Sage was held at 11 a.m. on March 5 at Cody Creek Chapel in Dobson, N.C. Pastor Jerry Tedder, friend and counselor of the couple, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Sage is the daughter of Cindy and Al Martin of Sabattus and Timothy and Kathy Archibald of Lewiston. Mr. Sage is the son of Betty Brooks of Sparta, N.C.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Timothy Archibald. Bethany Peavey, friend of the bride, was honor attendant and Kimberly Archibald, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.
A brother of the bridegroom, David Brooks, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Christopher Sage II, son of the bridegroom, and Michael Archibald, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston on June 4, when the couple traveled to Maine to celebrate the wedding with the bride’s family and friends. The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and they are residing in Jonesville, N.C.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Thomas College in Waterville with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree. She is club accountant for the Piedmont Club in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Wilkes Community College. He is employed at Austin Electrical Enclosures in Yadkinville, N.C.
