EAST SUMNER – The wedding of Cynthia Marie Polland and Travis James Trenoweth was held at 4:30 p.m. on July 9 in East Sumner. Cindy Dunn, friend, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Trenoweth is the daughter of Gloria Polland of Lisbon and David Polland of Sound Beach, N.Y. Mr. Trenoweth is the son of Jack and Debbie Trenoweth of Buckfield.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a tea-length white gown with spaghetti straps and carried a bouquet of lilies, gerbera and sunflowers.
Trisha Dunn was maid of honor for her friend and bridesmaids were Katie Trenoweth, sister-in-law, and Erica Langelier, friend. Alexis Bennett, cousin of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.
John and Cory Trenoweth, brothers, were best men and usher was Dennis Knox, uncle. Kaden Trenoweth, nephew, was the ring bearer.
Following a wedding trip to Bar Harbor and Aruba, the couple is residing in Buckfield.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Ramona High School in Ramona, Calif., and attended Feather River Community College, majoring in wildlife biology and fisheries. She is employed at Applebees in Auburn and plans to open her own business.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Buckfield High School and graduated from Washington County Tech., with a degree in heavy equipment operations. He is employed at Auburn Concrete.
