WEST PARIS – Roland and Ruth (Noyes) Dunham of West Paris recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 14, 1955, at the West Paris Universalist Church, with the Rev. Donald Hinckley officiating.
Mrs. Dunham is the daughter of Henry and Martha (Brooks) Noyes. Mr. Dunham is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Dunham.
As the children gave them a big 40th wedding anniversary party, the couple requested not to have a 50th wedding anniversary party.
They have three children, Paul and wife, Ginger, of Naples, Fla., Sharon Culbert of West Paris and Diana and husband, Rick, of South Paris. They also have seven grandchildren, Josh Dunham, Courtney Culbert, Jeremy Bean and Jessica B. Fitts, Susan Garneau, Hope Davenport and Rikki Parsons. They also have a great-grandson, Connor Fitts.
