YARMOUTH – The wedding of Tesia Jade Galarneau and Ryan Michael McCarthy was held on Aug. 14 at Westcustogo Point in Yarmouth. Philip Harriman, family friend, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. McCarthy is the daughter of Pam and Dave Galarneau of Durham. Mr. McCarthy is the son of Dianne and Michael McCarthy of Yarmouth.

Candra Rice, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Penny Morton, Amy Ouellette and Amanda Larochelle, friends of the bride, and Kate McCarthy, sister of the bridegroom. Lilly and Annie Hammer, cousins of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Serving as best man was Scott Bell, best friend of the bridegroom, and groomsmen were Cary Tardif and David Esquea, friends of the bridegroom, and Daniel Galarneau, brother of the bride. Troy Galarneau, cousin of the bride was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the McCarthy residence in Yarmouth, after which the couple traveled to Cancun in Mexico.

The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the University of Southern Maine. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in special education and is employed at Riverton School.

The bridegroom is a graduate of North Yarmouth Academy and attended Roger Williams University. He is employed at Sebago Brewing Company as a brewer.

The couple is residing in Portland.
