TURNER — Passengers in a car that went off the road on Route 4 and struck two travel trailers escaped injury Saturday afternoon.
Maine State Police Trooper Ricci Cote said a 15-year-old boy was driving a 2006 Ford northbound on the road when the tires of the car went into the soft shoulder of the road and he lost control. The car went through a fence and struck two trailers for sale at Scott’s Recreation at 2239 Auburn Road.
The driver, who Cote declined to name, had a valid permit and was accompanied by an adult.
The driver, the adult passenger and two back-seat passengers were not injured.
