BETHEL – John and Susan Wight of Bethel are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Wight of Northampton, Mass., to Alon J. Rand of Northampton, Mass., son of John and Paula (Nadeau) Rand of Shrewsbury, Mass., formerly of Lewiston and Auburn.
Miss Wight is a graduate of Gould Academy in Bethel and Smith College in Northampton, Mass. She is employed at McKesson in Hadley, Mass.
Mr. Rand is a graduate of Shrewsbury High School and Syracuse University. He is employed at CSD Mass. Relay in Holyoke, Mass.
The wedding will be held in Northampton, Mass., on May 2.
