MINOT – Timothy and Anita Richards of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Richards of Minot, to Jamison Leavitt of Minot, son of Gard and Sandra Leavitt of Auburn.

Miss Richards is a 1996 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2000 graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. She is employed as a social worker for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Mr. Leavitt is a 1992 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1996 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He is employed as credit manager at Seafax, Inc.

The wedding will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 2 at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston, with a reception to follow at Martindale Country Club.
