Sons of Italy to meet Nov. 17

RUMFORD — The Sons of Italy will have their regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m. at their hall on Route 108. Please bring your food for the Wheel Barrow Raffle.

Rumford Elks plan pasta night

RUMFORD — Rumford Elks Lodge PER Pasta Night will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 60 River St.

The meal will be spaghetti and meatballs, coleslaw, bread and dessert, for $5, with take-out available.

RUMFORD — Mexico High School Class of 1958 will meet for luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the River Valley Grill. Spouses and significant others are welcome.

New art show reception Nov. 20

RUMFORD — The Pennacook Art Center will open a new show of art that would be suitable for gift giving, at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.

The River Valley Growth Council and Pennacook invite all to a reception in the Tech Center lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, to meet the artists and view the art. There will be light refreshments and Christmas music with Grace Packard.

The Pennacook Art Center features paintings, drawings and photographs by local art professionals. The exhibit is available for viewing during the Technology Center’s regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday.
