Classical cantata

The 70 voices of the Maine Music Society Androscoggin Chorale will present the classical cantata “Carmina Burana,” by German composer Carl Orff, Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5. Under the direction of John Corrie, the chorale will be accompanied by pianists Bridget Convey and Chiharu Narusa. Featured soloists, above, are Susan Strickland, soprano; Brian Pfohl, tenor; and Leon Greisbach, bass-baritone. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. April 4 at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston, and at 3 p.m. April 5 at the Orion Performing Arts Center in Topsham.
