BATH – Studio Theatre of Bath will present Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” (female edition) Feb. 27 to March 8 in the Curtis Room of the Chocolate Church Arts Center.

Neil Simon wrote the original “Odd Couple,” a Broadway hit play starring Walter Matthau and Jack Klugman, in 1965, and it went on to become a film and popular TV show. Twenty years later, Simon revised the play for a female cast starring Rita Moreno and Sally Struthers. It has the same story line as the original with the same lead characters, now named Florence Ungar and Olive Madison. The poker game has become Trivial Pursuit and the Pigeon sisters have become the Costazuela brothers.

The play contains some adult language.

There are evening and matinee performances. Tickets are $13 for members, $10 for students and seniors and $15 for adults. For tickets or more information, call (207) 442-8455 or visit www.chocolatechurcharts.org.
