FARMINGTON — Police are advising motorists that traffic on Main Street and some side streets will be affected during the annual Chester Greenwood Day parade Saturday.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. at the W.G. Mallett School on Middle Street and proceed down High Street to South Street, north onto Main Street, turn onto Anson Street, back onto High Street and return to Mallett School. The parade is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
