LEWISTON – Captive Elements Art House and Willy Beans have joined together to present a live art auction open to the general public.
More than 20 pieces of art work will be offered by more than 12 local artists on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Willy Beans, located in the Bates Mill Complex #16 on Lincoln Street. Willy Beans will be providing its usual staple of beers, wines, non-alcoholic beverages.
Artwork may be viewed at Willy Beans all week and at 6:30 the night of the show, when artists will be on hand for conversation. The live auction will begin at 7:30 in the back dining area with a list of times, pieces, artists, and starting bids. The event is sure to entertain and provide all attending with the opportunity to see and bid on paintings, photography and metal works crafted and imagined by people in the community.
