Gallery 302 of Bridgton welcomes Barbara Traficonte as the guest artist for Nov. 8 through Dec. 5. Traficonte is a painter who works in pastels, oils and watercolor. She is known for her plein air landscapes of our beautiful Maine landscape. She wants the viewer to feel what she felt when she painted the piece. It should say something about the day and mood, the light and color, and about her as a painter. She has won numerous awards around the state for her paintings. Traficonte also owns an art and framing store in Norway and has taught painting in private lessons. The reception featuring Traficonte’s work is Nov. 28 from 5-7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
