LEWISTON — The Meadowview Senior Tenants Council of Spofford Street recently held their installation of new officers for the year 2015.

The installation officer was Mr. Arthur Raymond.

New officers are: Bert Dutil, president; Ray Ouellette, vice-president; Peggy Rollins, treasurer; Betty Swanson, secretary; Hope Hughes, Lorraine Sarrazin and Elaine Dumont, directors; Pauline Muldoon, Rose Robbins, Rena Williams and D.J. Sargent, associate directors.

The installation was held on New Year’s evening.

Forty tenants attended the event which included a lunch and games with prizes.

Activities for January at the senior complex include bingo at 5 p.m. every Thursday in the recreation hall, Senior Plus meals at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, a tenants general meeting at 10 a.m. on the second Monday of each month, and “Pass the Buck” game at 5:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month.

An ice cream social will be served by Bates College students at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24.
