BRUNSWICK – Acclaimed novelist and Bowdoin College writer-in-residence Margot Livesey will read from her recent novel, “The House on Fortune Street,” Monday, Sept. 29, on the college campus.
The 4:30 p.m. reading is open to the public in Lancaster Lounge, Moulton Union. Admission is free.
Livesey, who grew up on the edge of the Scottish Highlands, has written a collection of stories and six novels, and has been writer-in-residence at Bowdoin since 2005.
“The House on Fortune Street,” published in March by Harper Collins, tells the contemporary story of a London therapist, her family, her friendships and the ups and downs of romantic love.
