LEWISTON — Lewiston Adult Education will offer numerous personal enrichment and hobby courses in the coming months, on a variety of subjects such as art, cooking, wellness, gardening and technology.
Upcoming February courses include: “All Things Herbs,” “It’s a Mexican Fiesta — Ole!” “The Joy of Oil Painting” and “Couples Massage: Swedish, Deep Tissue and Reflexology.”
Early March will bring over a dozen new courses, including “The Four Gospels as Literature,” “Traditional Chair Caning,” “Wordpress for Beginners,” “America’s Boating Course,” “Hypnosis for Weight Loss,” “Open Art Studio,” “Pottery,” “Personal Transformation: First Steps,” “Quilted Table Runner,” “Get Ready to Bike” and more.
Lewiston Adult Education’s semi-annual Super Saturday event featuring single-session workshops will be held March 21. Classes such as “Automotive Basics in a Day,” “Blogging with Google Blogger,” “Clearing Your Chakras,” “Crocheted Ruffle Scarf,” “DIY Landscaping/Hardscaping for Beginners,” “Easter Chocolates for Families,” “Gluten-Free Cooking: Sunday Brunch,” “Heartsaver CPR, First Aid and AED Training,” “Home Repair for Beginners,” “Introduction to Meditation,” “Introduction to Reflexology,” “The Writer’s Journey” and “Wet Felting” will be offered.
New classes will continue to be offered throughout the spring, such as “Cooking with Quinoa,” “Batik for Everyone,” “Easy Baking with Irina,” “Gluten-Free Cooking: Comfort Food,” “Curious About Cremation,” “Long Term Care Insurance,” “Giving Guidance through Living Wills,” “Attic Window Wall Hanging,” “Reiki I,” “Silk Painting,” “MS PowerPoint” and more.
