LEWISTON — The School Department will hold pre-kindergarten registrations and information meetings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Longley, Martel, McMahon, Farwell, Montello and Geiger schools.

Parents unable to attend may contact their child’s school or call the superintendent’s office at 795-4103 for more information.

If a lottery is needed, it will be based on all students enrolled on June 2. It would be held at 8 a.m. Friday, June 5, at the School Department offices at 36 Oak St.

Requirements for registration include birth date between Oct. 16, 2010, and Oct. 15, 2011; official birth certificate; I-94 or green card if the child was not born in the United States; immunization records; proof of residency via a driver’s license, lease or rent agreement, utility bills or mortgage agreement.

It is not necessary to bring the child to the registration.
