1945 – 2015

LEWISTON — Mary C. (Greenwood) Jordan, 69, of Lewiston, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 29, while vacationing in Florida with her husband and loved ones.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1945, in Portland, a daughter of Charles and Mary Greenwood. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1964 and in later years, she pursued her career as a hairdresser.

On April 10, 1965, she married Charles F. Jordan, the love of her life. They were looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mary touched so many lives with her beautiful smile and warm heart, and her door was always open. She loved cooking for her family and friends, but above all else, she loved being a nana. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; her three daughters, Rebecca L. Sabo of Connecticut, Jayne E. Bergeron and fiancé, Paul Masse, of Auburn, and Tracey G. Hall and husband, Randy, of Lisbon Falls; and six grandchildren, CJ, Chad, Dustin, Grant, Nathan and Mari. Also surviving are her brother, Edward Greenwood and his wife, Candace; a sister, Susanne Greenwood; and many others to whom she was a mother and grandmother to in spirit.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary Greenwood; and a sister, Jocelyn Allen. Mary also leaves her church family, who meant so much to her.
