LIVERMORE FALLS — The fourth annual Flowers for Food fundraiser will be held Thursday, April 30, and Friday, May 8.

Proceeds will benefit the Tri-Town Ministerial Association Food Cupboard at the Eaton United Methodist Church at 28 Church St., Livermore Falls.

The fundraiser will honor the memory of Marcel Castonguay, a beloved young man from Jay who passed away in 2013. His friendship to so many and help to the community prompted Krista White to suggest future daffodil sales be in his honor.

Co-chairing Flowers for Food are Martina Eastman and White, who will cut daffodils from the gardens of Eastman and Clyde Walton. Last year, the sale raised $1,700.

Daffodils will be available for purchase from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Otis Federal Credit Union in Jay and Food City in Livermore Falls, and on Friday, May 8, at Food City.

For more information or to donate daffodils, contact Krista White at 207-212-1997 or Martina Eastman at 207-897-3171.
