Committee encourages registration for 80’s Super Reunion
RUMFORD/MEXICO – The committee planning the Rumford-Mexico 80’s Super Reunion encourages all 1980 to 1989 graduates to sign up in May for the best deal on reunion activities.
The reunion of all Rumford High School and Mexico High School 80’s alumni kicks off July 31 with a social hour. The main event with entertainment will be held Aug. 1 at Sunday River.
Graduates who sign up in May pay $35 per person. Rates increase to $40 per person for June sign-ups, and $50 per person beginning July 1.

Flowers for Food sales to benefit local food cupboard
LIVERMORE FALLS — The fourth annual Flowers for Food fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Food City.
Flowers for Food honors Marcel Castonguay, of Jay, who died in 2013.
The fundraiser will benefit the area food cupboard. Daffodils will be cut from the local gardens of Eastman and Clyde Walton. Donations of daffodils will be accepted for the fundraiser.

Oxford Hills AARP to meet May 11
PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet at noon on Monday, May 11, at the First Congregational Church on East Main Street.
Lunch will be served at noon. Reservations are required by Friday, May 8.
The business meeting will begin at 12:45 p.m., and a ukulele group will provide entertainment. Members are encouraged to bring donations for the local food pantry and items for the book and puzzle swap.

Grange to hold ‘souper’ supper
CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Grange will host a public “souper” supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 8.

Final Passport Dinner set for May 8
EAST WILTON — The Wilson Grange 321 will serve its final Passport Dinner of the season at 6 p.m. Friday, May 8.
The theme for this dinner is Indonesian. A student from the eastern nation will speak about her country following the meal.
