FREEPORT – Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, twin sons of rock ‘n’ roll legend Ricky Nelson – and grandsons of TV’s Ozzie and Harriet – will perform Saturday, June 23, at L.L. Bean’s Discovery Park.
Among the rock group Nelson’s pop/rock hits are “Can’t Live Without Your Love and Affection,””After the Rain” and “More Than Ever.”
The Nelsons’ show, “Remembering Ricky Nelson,” features a tribute to their late father’s popular music, including his famous hits. The twins plan to perform their new rendition of their dad’s “Travelin’ Man,” recently released on the Target CD, “A Song for My Father.”
“Performing outdoors in the summertime in beautiful Freeport, Maine, will be magical,” said Matthew Nelson in a prepared statement.
The free, outdoor concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., rain or shine. Bring blankets and lawn chairs.
